This past week at Chica Brava, we had the pleasure to welcome 7 wonderful guests:
- Anne, BC, Canada
- Mandy, BC, Canada
- Wendy, CA, Usa
- Kate, CA, Usa
- Kim, NY, Usa
- Karen, QLD, Australia
- Amanda, VIC, Australia
We started off the week nice & strong on Sunday morning by surfing the inside of Maderas. There’s no place like this one to realize the beauty of Nicaragua. Everybody had a great first session and became confident for this whole week of surfing! We celebrated our day by going to The Beach House for some sunset appetizers and drinks! The passion fruit mojito was a pretty popular drink for us!
The following day, we drove to Playa Hermosa and enjoyed this incredibly uncrowded beach. While Karen and Kim paddled to the outside, the rest of us stayed on the inside to master the popup. After 2 hours of practice, everyone was super solid up on their boards, and they even stayed out for “empower hour” trying to catch waves on their own. What a day!
On Tuesday, we made our way to a new beach : Remanso. It was a perfect day to do our Paddle Drill. This beach offered us beautiful conditions and everybody caught green waves from the outside, making the most of it! A couple of Toñas at the beach and we packed everything up, heading back to town.
Remanso was so good to us that we decided to surf there for the rest of the week. Our chicas got the learn the beach very well and got really comfortable with surfing its waves. From Wednesday on, their surfing reached an other level, that’s where everything came up together! Add to this epic sunsets from the ocean as we’re catching waves… What a dreamy scenery!
Thursday night, we explored new places around town, we went of course to El Timon for our epic Chica Brava menu. We had local drinks and watched live music and typical dances. After that, we decided to go to Surfing Buddha’s, a new restaurant that serve great Korean food!
Last but non the least, Friday has been a day to remember for all of us. It was Instructor Annie last day of work with us! We had a blast in the water, caught long rides & went out for a night to remember. We brought the party to Cerveceria, it was Annie’s last gig and we made sure to dance and sing! PITTED SO PITTED.
Thanks for an amazing week ladies, it has been a pleasure to meet you all!
Keep surfing!
