Moments With Chica Brava

In life there are times when we connect with a few people. This may be for only a few moments or during a week of surfing. When you find these people a bond is created and a lifelong friendship begins. A week at surf camp is always filled with moments of happiness, growth, and a little bit of frustration. This week was not any different.

The in-between moments, were a mix of encouraging conversations, moments of enlightenment, and car rides filled with 90’s karaoke.woman surfing a wave in Nicaragua at Chica Brava Surf retreat

The CHICAS

Liz was a Chica Brava veteran and came into this week and rocked it! She surfed five different breaks and she conquered each one with grace!

Anna came to improve her surfing. On Friday, she surfed some advanced waves at Panga Drops.

Liz, Beth, and Anna began their week as strangers but ended as surf sisters. Surfing creates bonds in and out of the water and this week was no different! In life, as in surfing, we face challenges, which are always better fought side by side with friends.
