Surf camps are everywhere, with various standards of accommodation, different budgets, and different vibes.

Unless you are looking for some romantic or niche seclusion, there is a good chance that Chica Brava is the ultimate women’s surf camp you would like book this summer.

Here are five reasons Chica Brava is a great choice for you this summer:

Learn how to paddle out and to take waves by yourself.

At Chica Brava, we’ve applied a concrete method that allows, over the week, to define your individual surfing goals, and to reach them with the help of surf instructors. Before every single surf session we dedicate one hour to theory lecture in relation to type of surfboard, how to read a wave and its direction, and how to use a surf report. After each 3-hour lesson, we do a video review of all the waves you ride.

Meet and be surrounded for one week by amazing women.

Sometimes, all we need a break from our daily lives to spend time in an atmosphere with other women. Sharing deep experiences with your mom, with your sister, friend from college, or your new Chica Brava friend is one of the best ways to learn about new aspects of a person. Imagine having the option to share a wave or a moment of life in its purist form with one of these dearest people. Book with Chica Brava and I’m more than confident you will get this feeling multiple times over the week.

Experience a new culture.

Chica Brava is located in San Juan del Sur in the province of Rivas. It’s a small fishing town turned in the last couple of years into the main mecca of surfing. Being in Latin America, you will have the opportunity to see some unique situations. Not only starting your day drinking coconut water, but also eating for dinner some typical food at what is called “Chicken Lady.” In reality, I do not want reveal much….come to personally discover the Latin American beauty!

Eat tropical food.

Whenever you will walk into the town, you will lose yourself between the many colored fruits. You will smile to the yellow of a magnificent pineapple, to the orange of sweet mango and to the green of a perfect avocado. Walking in the fruit market is a delicious experience not only for the mouth but also for the eyes.

Dance some fun Salsa steps.

It’s our tradition to celebrate a successful surf week by going for dinner in a local restaurant called El Timon. After eating delicious mixed sea food, drinking Tonas and Flores de Cana, we normally cheer to ourselves dancing cumbia all together.

These are just few of the reason that make me say Chica Brava is the ultimate of all women’s surf camps. Come to visit us!
