It was an amazing week here at Chica Brava! We had tons of waves and lots of festivities in town. Our five girls came from various backgrounds, but left as best friends. In our video they told us what makes them a Chica Brava.
We had three ladies come down from Virginia; Alex, Heather, and Mary Beth! This trio was a hoot to be around! Alex had no surfing experience, but by the end of the week she was full of confidence and surfing down the line! Heather surfed a bit in high school and college, but hadn’t surfed in quite some time. Let me tell you, she was cruising all the way down the beach in both directions. Awesome job! Mary Beth the last of the trio also had no surfing experience. The last day the waves picked up a bit and Mary Beth was surfing like a pro. Come back soon, y’all!
Beth was a solo traveler from London and Chica Brava was the halfway stop on her tour of Central America. She wanted to improve her surfing, so she could confidently ride her new short board. The last day she took her board out and was paddling into her own waves and taking off on some sick drops! Remember to send us pictures of your surfing adventures!
Lastly, we had Sher’ron, a solo traveler from Oklahoma. Sher’ron had style and grace from her years as a professional ballerina; even on her wipe out she pointed her toes! Thanks for showing us all how to pose like models, now all of our pictures look fabulous!
These Chica Bravas not only surfed all week, but also squeezed in time for a ton of activities! All of them enjoyed a scenic cruise on the sailboat, zip lined thru the mountains, and at the end of the week galloped on the beach with Rancho Chilamate! Come back soon!
