Surf Instruction & Relaxing Yoga
We’ve been in Nicaragua since 2003 and provide you with the local knowledge necessary to experience life in Nicaragua and the best it has to offer! Our comprehensive surf instruction program was created by 6-time National Nicaraguan Surf Champ and our camp founder, Ashley Blaylock, and includes:
- Goal Setting upon arrival and mid-week check-ins/revisions
- Daily Surf Theory lessons in a classroom setting
- Daily In-water Training and surfing drills with hourly feedback sessions
- Video review analysis sessions
Our surf and yoga retreats are designed to accommodate varying surfing experience levels in the same group during the same week. Whether you’re beginner, intermediate, or experienced surfer, we have the vehicles, surf boards, and staff necessary to tailor the week to your needs and get you up and surfing. At CHICABRAVA, we are committed to helping you progress at every level and making sure your surf and yoga retreat is both amazing and unforgettable!
Our yoga instructor Venessa Pattison will help you relax and unwind after a long day of surfing. We offer three yoga sessions during your week here and there is also one massage included as well, so each night you will be able to stretch and work out your muscle fatigue from a fun day of surfing. Each yoga session at the camp will cater to the needs and wants of the group, so if you have a favorite yoga position let Vanessa know. We believe in helping women grow mentally and physically with yoga just as much as they will grow with learning how to surf.
